Having developed a love for Spanish in the seventh grade, Susan began her career in Madrid, Spain where she conducted management seminars for business leaders in Castilian Spanish. Since then she has served organizations, both in the United States and abroad, for more than twenty five years. Susan specializes in interventions that make it possible for individuals, teams and organizations to excel.
Susan's areas of expertise include: business and relationship coaching, team development, conflict mediation, meeting facilitation, and strategic planning. She is recognized for her relationship insights, strong process skills and clear compelling style.
Upon suffering the sudden loss of her husband six and a half years ago, she became a single mother of three. Successfully guiding her children through those years has been her greatest accomplishment.
Susan received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, and her Executive MBA, summa cum laude from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain. She is Myers-Briggs certified and a "His Needs, Her Needs" marriage workshop facilitator. Susan has a class E motorcycle license (earned late in life) and for a window of time was the proud owner of a "sweet" Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe. After a few close calls, she happily found it a "good home."
